Entrepreneurship has long been part of the zeitgeist in the for-profit world, but Tara Abrahams honed her entrepreneurial skills in the non-profit world, building and leading a number of grassroots impact organizations. She’s worked with Girls Who Code and The Obama Foundation's recently launched Girls Opportunity Alliance and led both The Girl Project at Glamour Magazine and Girl Rising. When Tara came across She's the First and VOW, her skills and experience collided with her passion for women's issues. Tara served as the managing director of VOW, which seeks to end child marriage around the world, and is currently the board chair at She’s the First, which works to ensure that girls are educated, respected and heard. Tara recently joined Arabella Advisors to support philanthropists in moving from idea to impact. Learn how Tara was able to apply her MBA to thinking about her career and non-profit mission and impact.
